Summary : great feel nice lighting
my only cons are the play/stop/skip/rewind buttons dont work with winamp unless you macro them to open winamp and do the certain operations everytime. so i cant use the buttons during gaming like my old g15 keyboard or it will pull me out of my game to re-open winamp for each command i use. Otherwise I love having the option to move my keypad and that makes up for it.

Summary : Excellent Gaming/Multimedia Keyboard
I've had many Logitech keyboards in the past and they worked very well. The G11 was my favorite and this one is kinda similar to that one only red backlighting and a black keyboard. This is definately a very nice gaming and multimedia keyboard with tons of macros which i can't even find things to use them for. But it works very well for my games and has a cool function called Cruise Control, you push a button and it pushes it automatically like on a car. Very cool. The knobs for sound and lighting are very convienient and the detachable keypad is awesome because I never used that and it frees up so much space.

Summary : out-of-the-box product design, from M$ no less!
Given the $40 pricetag on this keyboard (1/2 MSRP), it's plausible that another revision is in the works. Other reviews have noted various critiques:

- space bar is longer than normal, potentially skewing Alt/Win keypresses
- no "feet" in the back to angle the keyboard
- no USB (not an issue for me, just mentioning it)
- numeric keypad isn't wireless
- wrist-rest is fixed

Anyway, I'm here to describe some other features:

- no right-hand Windows key, in favor of a "Shortcut" key (right-mouse button functionality). Useless for me, but it can be turned off.
- the detachable keypad, which snaps in via magnets, is in fact hot-pluggable. Takes a few seconds to activate, altho that doesn't seem to be a major issue.
- both brightness & volumes knobs are smooth-rotating, no clicks or other tactile/audible feedback.
- the brightness dial does have hard stops, ie. it can be turned all the way down, or all the way up
- the volume dial, on the other hand, is "infinite spin". There's a little volume display which pops up (but not in game), and it seems to be a little laggy; it can take a moment or three to work, seems to depend on CPU load, hmm. Too, mute can be delayed, which is vexing.
- not all buttons are remappable: the upper-left-hand "keyboard", "running man", "macro" buttons. I can understand why, but would love to remap the "running man" button for use in games (WoW, etc.)
- feels solid enough, no complaints (some have quibbled about soft keypresses, but hey, it feels fine to me).

Suggestions for future revisions:

- drop the wristrest, please. It's just takin' up desktop real estate.
- maybe add an LED display for the volume knob, since the soft display doesn't work in game
- feet in the back, sure
- move the cable to one side or the other, less clutter
- minor quibble: switch the play/pause button with the rewind button, and make the play/pause button slightly larger. The current play/pause-REW-FF-Mute layout looks like a Chinese remote.

Overall, IMHO it's worth it. You could get any junk keyboard for < $20, or pay > $100 for something super-fancy, sure. But this one is good.

Summary : In Stock??
So the website says the item is in stock right now and when I ordered the item but both Amazon and Deal Barn says it is out of stock? even though the site says differently...Thank you

Summary : Great Board!!
Pros:
Great sleek look. Keys feel just right when typing (not clunky or loud). The option of moving the number pad to the right or left is great.
Macros work great when setup. Volume and color brightness controls work awesome. Everything works as it should.
Perfect for gaming.

Cons:
The red back-light color is o.k., but for me I would have preferred a blue or white. The hand rest pad at the bottom of the keyboard is a little wide - comes close to overlapping the front edge of my keyboard pull-out tray. Macros and some other special keys take some time to get setup. (these are just my opinions and personal preferences)

Other:
All-in-all this is a pretty sweet board and well worth the money. If you are looking for a new keyboard, definitely give this one a try, you won't be disappointed (unless you are extremely anal about these kinds of things)
